Drug tracking begins to be implemented in Brazil

(São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil - Communicate) Four pharmaceutical chains associated with Abrafarma - Brazilian Association of Pharmacy and Drugstore Chains were involved in a pilot drug traceability project. Pay Less, Droga Raia, Drogaria Araújo and Drogasil participated in a seminar promoted by the Etco Institute on October 22nd and will test the system on about 40 thousand medicines. The test also included the participation of seven pharmaceutical companies and three large distributors of medicines.
