Seminar debates taxation and competitiveness in Brazil

The excessive Brazilian tax burden is responsible for reducing the efficiency of the economy, compromising the competitiveness of Brazilian products abroad. The theme, its implications and alternatives will be discussed at the 06st Seminar on “Taxation and Competitiveness”, promoted by the National Confederation of Services (CNS) in partnership with the FGV-SP Law School, with support from AMCHAM and ETCO, on October 8, Monday, from 15 am. at 1431 pm, at AMCHAM headquarters (Rua da Paz, nº XNUMX - Chácara Santo Antonio).
The meeting will be attended by the Minister of Finance, Guido Mantega, the director of the FGV-SP School of Law, Ary Oswaldo Mattos Filho, the tax attorney Roberto Pasqualin, the president of ETCO, André Franco Montoro Filho, the Extraordinary Secretary for Economic-Tax Reforms Finance Minister Bernard Appy, the IDB tax expert, Alberto Barreix, the head of the IMF's Tax Policy Division, Isaias Coelho, and the CNS president, Luigi Nese.
