The Civil Police of Jundiaí made the biggest seizure of contraband cigarettes of the year, in a work carried out by the General Investigation Office (DIG). According to delegate Antônio Seleguin Júnior, the Apolo 5 police officers received an anonymous tip that there was an irregular ´distribuidora´, on Avenida Antônio Barchetta, 130, in Jardim Copacabana, Vila Maringá region. She worked at the home of retired metalworker José Pedro da Rosa, 53. The merchandise is valued at about R $ 10. There are 1.500 packages of different brands. Investigators Vanderlei, Bomba and Paulinho went to the accused's residence and asked to search. The owner of the property granted access and some packages were found inside the house.

Afterwards, the police went to the basement of the residence, where they found many boxes of cigarettes. Among the brands of contraband products are Eight, Mil, San Marino, TE, Euro, Classic and Vila Rica. The accused was arrested in the act by the civil police and sent to DIG headquarters. Delegate Antônio Seleguin took José's testimony together with the clerk Carlos Alberto and ordered the elaboration of a report on the occurrence of contraband, with the arrest of the retiree in the Jundiaí Jail, where he will await a decision by the Justice.
