The Government of Mato Grosso, through the Civil House, confirmed the appointment of a specific delegate just to take care of the inspection and inquiries in the fuel segment. The decision had been asked by the sector.
Through ordinance no. 85, of June 15, the delegate Maria Alice Amorim, together with the Specialized Precinct of Farming Crimes and Public Administration, through the action of delegate Rogério Modelli, will initiate police investigations and preside over them until final conclusion, in cases involving crimes and fraud in the sale of fuels.
"The request of the president of Sindipetróleo, Aldo Locatelli, deserves all the attention and respect on the part of the State Government, since he represents the desire of a whole category", said the secretary of the Civil House, Eder Moraes. The decision was also necessary due to the need to speed up the investigation of crimes, due to the high potential for injury to the tax authorities and the consumer.
Delegate Maria Alice will attend to existing work demands in relation to fraud in the commercialization of fuels, including adulteration of its original characteristics, tax evasion, sale of products resulting from theft, among others. The ordinance was signed by delegate Paulo Rubens Vilela, director-general of the Civil Judicial Police.
