4.338 CDs and 7.289 DVDs were seized in operation on Tuesday

The 42nd Battalion of the Military Police seized 4.338 CDs and 7.289 DVDs in five cities in the Pontal do Paranapanema region in an anti-piracy operation that began last Tuesday (20).

"We are mainly seizing CDs and DVDs," explains Captain Odair Martins. He adds that the inspection will continue and intends to combat the sale of illicit products.

In Presidente Epitácio, 1.426 DVDs and 465 CDs were seized. In Teodoro Sampaio, 382 DVDs and 304 CDs were collected. In Mirante do Paranapanema there were 1.469 CDs, 1.956 DVDs and 165 video games. In addition to 2.570 DVDs, two video games, two DVD players and 126 packs of cigarettes from various brands were seized in Rosana.

On Thursday (22) the operation started in Presidente Venceslau at around 10 am, where several stalls at the town's camelódromo were approached and 4.012 DVDs and 2.100 CDs were seized.
