The Military Police (PM) seized 573 packages of cigarettes in a Celta approached in the Center of Reginópolis (70 kilometers from Bauru).

According to the cable PM Bandeira, the vehicle was stopped at Rua Agda Martins, around 11:10 am yesterday, during a routine approach. In Celta, with São Paulo license plates, there was a driver and a passenger. When conducting the survey inside, the police found 573 packages of Eight and Mill brand cigarettes covered by plastic.

The material was seized and the driver sent to the Reginópolis Police Station. According to the city's chief delegate, Adriano Crês, the 20-year-old FAP driver (only the initials were disclosed by the police) was not qualified to drive and did not have the invoices for the merchandise he would have admitted to have come from Paraguay. The car was seized.

“The material will be sent to technical experts and we will investigate whether it is a crime of misdirection ?, explains Crês. Cigarette packs will be forwarded to the Federal Police in Bauru.
