Petrobras Distribuidora will hold another action of the De Olho no Combustível (DOC) program in 3 stations of its flag in Baixada Santista, in the state of São Paulo, on Thursday, September 11.
The objective is to certify the quality of the fuels sold at the stations certified by the program, in order to show the importance of combating the practice of adulteration. The operation will have the support of six Mobile Quality Laboratories (LMQs), conducted by trained chemical technicians.
On the occasion, there will also be a motorcade with the LMQs through the main streets and avenues of Santos. Tests will be carried out in the morning at the Santour, Arrastão, Silverstone, Indaiá, Portal do Gonzaga and 500 Miles stations. In the afternoon, Lunar, San Remo, RPLopes, Tamburello and Praiamar stations are on the itinerary.
In order to combat fuel adulteration in its network of service stations, Petrobras Distribuidora created, in 1996, the De Olho no Combustível program. "Monitoring the quality of fuels at Petrobras stations certified by the program has allowed consumers to safely supply, minimizing the risk of buying adulterated fuel," says Edimario Machado, director of the Petrobras Distribuidora Service Station Network.
