Gas stations that sell adulterated products may have their activities suspended after the first adulteration check. Currently, the suspension occurs only when the technicians of the National Petroleum Agency (ANP) find out the fraud for the fourth time. The measure was approved by the Constitution and Justice and Citizenship Commission of the Chamber, in Brasília, this Wednesday (24).

If adulteration is found in the fuel, the establishment may lose the National Register of Legal Entities (CNPJ), in addition to the company's registration with the National Petroleum Agency (ANP).
