The Judiciary of Mato Grosso now has the Integrated Arrest Warrant System (Simp), a technological innovation that will speed up the work of Justice. The system was officially installed this Saturday (28/11), in Cuiabá (MT), with the presence of the President of the Supreme Federal Court (STF) and the National Council of Justice (CNJ), Minister Gilmar Mendes, the President of the Court of Mato Grosso Justice (TJMT), judge Mariano Travassos, and the general judge of TJMT, judge Manoel Ornellas de Almeida.

To start the system, the judge of the 4th Criminal Court of Cuiabá, Rondon Douglas sent an arrest warrant over the internet to Polinter's delegate, Milton Teixeira. The signature of the technical cooperation agreement that allowed the installation of the system was carried out in the plenary session of the TJMT, with the presence of judges, judges, lawyers and judicial officers.

For Minister Gilmar Mendes, this system now installed in the Mato Grosso Judiciary, in addition to making justice work faster makes the legal process safer. "The delay in fulfilling a court order can contribute to its non-compliance," said the minister. According to him, "the initiative of the Court of Justice of Mato Grosso deserves to be included in the Bank of Good Practices of the Judiciary".

Aglity - Judge Aristides Vilela, coordinator of the system, said that the program has been studied for two years to be made feasible, including training for judges in Cuiabá and the Várzea Grande District, where it will initially come into operation. Simp is a system that allows judges to comply with or download arrest warrants over the internet, in an agile and unbureaucratic manner. It is the result of technical cooperation work between the Judiciary and Executive branches, through the Internal Affairs Department of Justice and the State and Public Security Secretariat. The system will be available 24 hours a day, on the Mato Grosso Judiciary Power portal (wwwtj.mt.gov.br) for all criminal courts, jury courts and special courts in Cuiabá and Várzea Grande.

In order to have access, the judges will be registered and will receive a password and login. With a digital certification by the magistrate, he will be able to issue the arrest warrant electronically over the internet, which will be sent to the Civil Judicial Police for immediate compliance, without bureaucracy, saving time and money.

One of the benefits of Simp is the possibility of centralizing information on issuance for compliance and against warrants in a single location, eliminating folders and papers that transform the slow process. The centralization of the system will favor that a delegate from another state district has knowledge, in real time and simultaneously, about the arrest warrants open and also those already fulfilled.

Simp will also directly benefit the citizen, as it will prevent the person who has already served his sentence from going through the embarrassment of being improperly arrested for failure to control the termination of proceedings. Conviction warrants in a conventional manner, that is, on paper, may still be issued, but will have a period of 48 hours to be issued.
