The PRF (Federal Highway Police) of Espírito Santo seized, this Friday afternoon, about 5.000 pills of smuggled drugs in the cities of Cariacica and Vitória.

According to the PRF, one of the suspects, who is 29 years old, had already been arrested for transporting prohibited drugs on the BR-101, but was responding to the process in freedom.

After the apprehension, the PRF started the investigation work, with the assistance of the State Public Ministry and the Post Office. It was found that the suspect continued to sell banned drugs in Brazil.

Sexual stimulants, anabolic steroids and other medicines were seized at his home. According to the PRF, the suspect had just received an order for pills by mail from the interior of Paraná. Among the apprehended drugs are (trade names): Cytotec, Pramil, Digram, Rigix, Eroxil, Hemogenin, Metandrostenolon, Lipostabil, Winstrol, Brontec, Decalan depot, Stanozoland, Cycle 6, Potenciem and Nandrolone.

More than R $ 100 in checks were also seized, agendas with financial transactions, cell phones and a computer. The two suspects have been arrested and will answer for smuggling (one to four years in prison) and for guarding an adulterated or counterfeit product intended for therapeutic purposes (10 to 15 years).

Paraná

On Tuesday (13), the Paraná PRF seized 183 pills of drugs smuggled from Paraguay into a truck on BR-277 in Céu Azul, in western Paraná. It was the biggest drug seizure this year. The estimate is that the cargo would be worth R $ 2 million. (Online sheet)
