An agreement was signed at the Piratini Palace on Thursday, 24, under which Procergs will receive R $ 1,44 million in funds from the Brazilian Institute of Competition Ethics (ETCO).
The money will be used to build the physical structure of the company's second data center, which will provide redundancy for the processing of electronic invoices from the state and the 13 states that will use the state-owned infrastructure. The servers - in the amount of R $ 5 million - were donated by the IRS in late 2007.
"Redundancy will also be used for government systems, which will provide more security to the electronic government", highlights Ronei Ferrigolo, president of Procergs. Ferrigolo points out that the investment will be made in a free government building to reduce costs.
ETCO brings together 34 companies in the beer, soft drink, tobacco, fuel and technology sectors. “NF-e eliminates the illicit advantage generated by tax evasion in markets as taxed and competitive as those of our companies”, guarantees André Franco Montoro Filho, executive president of the NGO.
