Revenue seizes R $ 25 million in pirated goods in Santos

   The Federal Revenue Service of Brazil ended an operation this week in
   port of Santos / SP which resulted in the seizure of about R $ 25 million
   in goods. The Customs Surveillance Division team and the Force
   Special Customs Repression (FERA) were responsible for the
   research work started in mid-May.


   Irregularities in imports were discovered in 11
   companies operating in the port, seven based in São Paulo, one in
   Alagoas, one in Amapá, one in Paraná and one in Rio Grande do Sul.
   customs offenses cover false declaration of content, interposition
   fraudulent and counterfeiting marks.


   In the Operation, used video games were seized, in addition to dozens of
   of thousands of pairs of glasses imitating famous brands like Ray Ban,
   Dolce Gabbana, Gucci, Armani, Mont Blanc, Oakley, Hugo Boss, Prada,
   Levis, Dior, Nike, Versace, Diesel, a large number of tracksuits,
   jackets, jackets and shirts with counterfeits from brands like Onbongo,
   Tommy Hilfiger, Puma, Nike, Adidas, Le Coc Sportif, Kappa, Lacoste, and
   thousands of other sneakers with imitations of the Nike and Puma brands, and
   handbags imitating the Victor Hugo, Guess and Dolce Gabbana brands.


 The goods came from China in nine imports, and from the United
 United in the other two.
