A joint operation by the Federal Revenue Service and the Federal Police, in the rivers that bathe the municipalities of Óbidos and Oriximiná in the state of Pará, seized a vessel with a thousand boxes of national beers, unaccompanied by invoice.

Foreign goods (cameras, drugs, fishing nets, clothing with signs of irregularities) were also apprehended, valued at R $ 52.

The beer, being of national origin, was handed over to the Finance Department of the State of Pará for the infraction notices. Foreign goods, on the other hand, should suffer the penalty of forfeiture.

With the reform of the Candiru Base, the IRS opted to carry out constant one-off operations in the area, so as not to give respite to smuggling and embezzlement.

Eight Federal Revenue servants and four Federal Police agents participated in this operation. Two speedboats were used, one from RFB and the other from PF, in addition to two vans.
