Seminar debates consumption of pirated products in Brazil

The seminar is already taking place Taxation and the practice of piracy in Brazil, scheduled to occupy the whole morning and part of the afternoon of the work of the Education, Culture and Sport Commission (CE). Senator Flávio Arns (PT-PR) opened the meeting explaining that there will be two panels: one, in which he himself will be the moderator, will have as his theme National and international consequences of the consumption of pirated products in Brazil.


 


The second panel will focus on taxation in Brazil in relation to pirated products, under the moderation of Senator Eduardo Azeredo (PSDB-MG). Eight experts were invited to address the issue, including lawyers, tax experts, businessmen and cultural producers.


The seminar will take place in room 15 of the Alexandre Costa Wing, in the Senate, but will be broadcast on a screen in a room close to the event.
