Invited by the State Secretariat of Finance, the Bahian tax auditor Carlos Augusto Cruz was at the agency, this Thursday and Friday (9 and 10), to provide special training for civil servants. The course, which is part of the schedule set up by the Fazendária School (Efaz), had as its theme the Electronic Invoice (NF-e).
During the two days, the member of the Bahia Finance Secretariat addressed the use of the document in carrying out audits. “The invoice went from being paper to becoming an electronic XML file. It is necessary to understand its structure and that of the database in order to extract the necessary information regarding the operations carried out by the companies ”, he says.
In addition to detailing all these topics, the auditor also made available the NF-e extraction program used in the neighboring state, since Alagoas does not yet have its own. "As Sefaz here does not have the tool to obtain data from the XML database, I was invited to visit the institution and teach how to use this system," he said.
According to Carlos, the new technology is essential for the work of inspectors. “As of 2008, all bills issued by gas stations are electronic. We are unable to inspect a fuel distributor taxpayer if we are not using the Electronic Invoice. Without it, we have no way to work ”, he adds.
For the technical leader of the NF-e on the Farm, Aroldo Rocha, the training will serve as a basis for the improvement of the project in the State. “I didn't know about this extraction tool and it is very important, as it allows you to import a note and work extensively with it. I work with development and that will serve as a parameter in the creation of other programs like these ”, he says.
Implemented by the Treasury in partnership with the Federal Revenue in 2007, the Electronic Invoice is a digital-only file, issued and stored electronically, in order to document the circulation of goods or services. About four thousand Alagoas companies already use the system.
