Minister Jorge Hage opens Clean Company Law Conference in São Paulo
The chief minister of the Federal Comptroller General (CGU), Jorge Hage, highlighted this Tuesday morning (18) that the most important aspect of the Clean Company Law (Law 12.846 / 2013) is the preventive side; the deterrent effect of corruption, which the standard has promoted in the business environment. "The Law has had an inhibiting impact on corruption, since it is now possible to directly reach the corrupting agent, that is, the company, in its assets, and this has made them prepare to prevent their employees from practicing illicit acts," he said.
