Integrated Protection Program aims at joint action at the borders
On November 16, the President of the Republic issued Decree No. 11 / 8.903 instituting the Integrated Border Protection Program - PIF, aiming at strengthening prevention, control, inspection and repression of cross-border crimes. Founded on the integrated and coordinated performance of the security, intelligence, Federal Revenue and Armed Forces Staff, this important initiative of the Federal Government had been defended for many years by the FNCP, having been one of the main proposals of the Movement in Defense of the Brazilian Legal Market, coordinated by ETCO and FNCP and with the participation of forty business entities. We are ready to cooperate in this necessary and complex State action, in defense of national security and interests.
The importance of public security policies in the fight against organized crime
