São Paulo remains strong in the fight against illegal trade
The city of São Paulo continues to play hard against piracy, smuggling and other illegal practices involving the sale of products. Not only through repressive operations, the municipality expands its operations. In February and March, two other training programs were carried out with a view to preparing GCM agents to combat illegal trade.
To train professionals who participate in operations to combat piracy, agents of the intelligence group of the Metropolitan Civil Guard (GCM) received two training sessions to identify piracy / counterfeiting.
On March 8, a team from the Federal Police promoted training focused on “Intelligence and Public Security”, which was conducted by delegates Ricardo Carriel, responsible for the Fazendária Police Station in São Paulo, and Ricardo Fillipi Pecoraro, head of the police intelligence sector Federal, and is part of the continuous training plan of the Regional Superintendence of the Federal Police in São Paulo. This is the third course that the Federal Police promotes with agents of the Metropolitan Civil Guard.
In February, about 20 guards participated in the training given by speakers from the National Forum to Combat Piracy (FNCP), the Brand Protection Group (BPG) and Honda. All participants were certified by the Urban Security Training Center.
The objective is to train agents of the Strategic Actions Group (GAE) of the GCM Special Operations Inspectorate (IOPE) in integrated operations, of the bodies of the Security Office and of the Municipal Secretariat for Urban Security to curb these crimes.
