Contribute to the simplification of rules and the improvement of legal security in the state of Rio de Janeiro. With this objective in mind, the executive president of ETCO, Edson Vismona, became a member in 2020 of the Business Council for Competitiveness and Business Environment of the traditional Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro.

The Council's purpose is to debate and suggest proposals for the State's deregulation, in order to reduce bureaucracy and encourage entrepreneurship and the advancement of the Rio de Janeiro economy. The initiative brings together thirty prominent names from different areas of the State and civil society bodies, under the chairmanship of the executive Delcio Sandi, who in 2021 was also elected chairman of the Board of Directors of ETCO.
