Delcio Sandi takes over ETCO's Board of Directors

In April, executive Delcio Sandi assumed the chairmanship of the ETCO Board of Directors. He replaces Alexandre Kruel Jobin, who joins the Institute's Advisory Board.

The Board of Directors is the body that establishes guidelines for the performance of ETCO, approves the projects suggested by the executive presidency and supervises their implementation.

Delcio Sandi is an agronomist and holds a master's and doctorate in Food Science and Technology. He was a university professor and in 2004 he joined BAT Brasil (formerly Souza Cruz) to provide scientific support to the legal and corporate affairs areas. After an international experience, he started to work directly in the Corporate Affairs area with a focus on the regulatory area. In 2008, he assumed the leadership of the Government Relations area and, in 2019, the Company's External Relations Department. He has been part of ETCO since 2018, he was a director at ABRIG, and he is chairman of the ACRJ Competitiveness, Business Environment and Security Council; vice president of CIRJ (Council of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro), president of SINDIFUMO / SP, delegate of SINDIFUMO / RJ at FIRJAN and director of AMCHAM / RJ.
