The last analysis made by the Center for Research and Technological Analysis of the National Petroleum Agency pointed out irregularities in 15% of alcohol samples collected in the State.

According to the ANP bulletin, in February 51 samples were collected in February and eight of them were outside the standards required by the agency.

Considering the last quarter, when 107 samples were collected, the non-compliance rate is 7,5%.

The biggest problem was detected in posts in the region that includes municipalities in Maracaju, Sidrolândia, Nioaque, Jardim and Bonito, where 45,5% of the samples failed.

The rate of non-compliance in the region of Ponta, Porã, Fátima do Sul and Amambaí is also high, at 22,2%. In the Capital there were no problems with alcohol and gasoline, but one of the 17 samples collected of diesel oil was out of the norm.

In general, the analysis showed no adulteration in gasoline in Mato Grosso do Sul, but in diesel, three of the 154 samples collected since December presented problems.

The analysis is being done by the ANP itself because there is no monitoring contract in force. Before, the work was carried out by Labcom of UFMS (Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul). ANP informs that the bidding process is in progress.
