Four pharmaceutical chains associated with the Brazilian Association of Pharmacy and Drugstore Chains (Abrafarma) were involved in a pilot drug traceability project. Pay Less, Droga Raia, Drogaria Araújo and Drogasil participated in a seminar promoted by the Etco Institute on October 22 and will test the system on about 40 thousand medicines. The test was also attended by seven pharmaceutical companies and three major drug distributors.
