Northeast Regional Forum debates informality and unfair competitionEvent brings together about 150 participants at the Meliá Gran Marquise, in Fortaleza
 
Promoted by the Secretary of Finance of the State of Ceará on the 30th, the meeting, opened by Governor Lucio Alcântara, brought together the Secretaries of Finance of Rio Grande do Norte, Maranhão and Ceará.
 
Focusing on the debate on informality, unfair competition and the impacts on economic growth, the Forum had three panels and a lecture by the President of the Etco Institute, Emerson Kapaz.
 
The first panel brought together farm secretaries who exposed measures that are being taken in their states to combat tax evasion and attract more people to the formal market.
 
In Rio Grande do Norte, a task force was created bringing together the executive, the judiciary and civil organizations to combat unfair competition practices. An invitation to Etco was formalized to, on a visit to the State, formalize the institute's participation in the task force.
 
Northeast Regional Forum debates informality and unfair competitionThe second panel focused on the vision of the judiciary with the participation of Minister Edson Vidigal, president of the Superior Court of Justice, the Public Ministry of Ceará and the State Labor Justice.
 
The third and last panel was in charge of the private sector with the participation of local entrepreneurs, and Dietmar Schupp, representative of Sindicom.
