 In order to meet the requirements of the new tax legislation and, mainly, to reduce the costs with the acquisition of forms and prints, Metapar Usinagem, manufacturer of products for machining automotive components, chose Signature South Consulting - leader in the supply of exchange solutions electronic document based on Digital Signature and World Reference in Electronic Invoice - to implement the solution for issuing electronic invoice, Signature NF-e.

 

According to Anderson Garrett, Metapar's IT coordinator, Signature was chosen for its perfect integration with the management system used by the company. “We looked for several suppliers, but Signature was the one that showed us the best cost / benefit and acceptance in the integration issues with our current management software”, explains Garrett.

 

Other characteristics sought by Metapar were the possibility of electronic integration of the company with its supplier ecosystem, better control over tax documents and less possible investment in IT infrastructure. The implementation was carried out by AtivaSoft, Signature's partner in the southern region.

 

The project started in February this year and involved several areas such as Administrative Management, Tax Accounting, Information Technology, Finance and Shipping. Garrett says that the deployment was carried out efficiently in a short time. "Although we started the process in a period very close to the deadline defined by SEFAZ, we were able to implement the solution and start using it on time, without major difficulties" he comments.

 

With Signature NF-e, the company expects to record a reduction in operating costs with printing and storing tax documents. Today, Metapar issues approximately one thousand invoices per month and receives another 300 invoices from suppliers.

 

Located in Curitiba, Metapar has approximately 250 employees and, since 1998, has been engaged in the machining of parts and components for the diesel automobile industry and also produces components used in the water pipe and plumbing segment, producing “Metal Inserts” a from MP in “Copper / Zinc”. In these years of existence, Metapar has had an effective participation in the development of the economy of the State of Paraná.
