NFe doesn't end with bureaucracy of accounting documents

The counselor of the Regional Accounting Council of the State of São Paulo (CRC SP), Marcia Alcazar, explains that there are many advantages in adopting the NFe, but draws attention to the need to eliminate other documents inherent in accounting operations that end up containing the same information as in the electronic invoice. According to what was announced by the government, the idea is that in due course these parallel documents begin to be eliminated.

In addition, she says, the Public Digital Bookkeeping System (Sped), which is part of the mandatory NFe, also extends to the accounting area (which involves the Federal Revenue, Central Bank, Securities Commission), which still lacks simplification. Thus, the life of the entrepreneur, even with the adoption of the NFe, is not yet free of much accounting and tax bureaucracy.
