An anonymous report resulted in the seizure of 450 boxes of cigarettes, this afternoon (15) in Diamante do Oeste.

A box truck, with LPJ 0670 plates, from Nova Iguaçu / RJ, was surprised by the Federal Police while it was parked in a mechanic.

In each of the boxes, 50 closed packages of smuggled cigarettes from Paraguay were found. The driver, identified by the initials MAJ of 28 years, did not assume that he was the owner of the cargo, but also did not inform the Police about the real responsible.
The man was taken to the 15th SDP of Cascavel, the vehicle already forwarded to the Federal Police.

About 50 thousand packs of smuggled cigarettes from Paraguay were seized by the Federal Highway Police (PRF) on BR-282, in Rancho Queimado, in Greater Florianópolis, yesterday, at 4 am. The cigarettes were transported in three cars driven by Sandro Luiz dos Santos, 41, Adenilso Ferrari, 26, and Carlos Cesar dos Santos, 39. The contraband and the cars were taken to the Federal Revenue warehouse in São José. Federal Police in Florianópolis.
