The team from the São Sebastião Police Department carried out, on the afternoon of Thursday (26), five search and seizure warrants issued by the local court against businessman Genivaldo Ferreira. Owner of gas stations in the region, he is accused of tax evasion and adulteration of fuels.

According to police chief Antônio Barros, several liters of diesel oil, ethanol and gasoline were seized, in addition to chemicals that were at the gas stations. “The material will be analyzed to prove the existence or not of adulteration of fuel”, he explains.

Antônio Barros recalls that the businessman recently went to the local police station to complain about a cart, on behalf of his daughter, who had been taken from one of the posts. His team investigated the case and found that the vehicle was still showing up at the stations, which led the police to deduce that the complaint was slander.

“Starting tomorrow, I will listen to employees at the service stations to clarify various information. Genivaldo Ferreira is on the run and should be indicted anyway ”, adds the delegate.
