DIG civil police officers seize 6.634 cigarette packs

According to information obtained from the General Investigations Office (DIG), the Civil Police received anonymous complaints that a man known as Rogério illegally sold cigarettes and medicines at his commercial establishment located at Praça Luiz Apezzato, Centro. After the complaint, the police started an investigation that confirmed the complaint. In order to proceed with the seizure of the products, Delegate João Batista Frattini asked the Justice for a search and seizure warrant, which approved allowed the police to proceed with the action.

At around 11:30 am on Thursday, the police went to the store where they found several packs of cigarettes. Inside the two vehicles of the accused, identified as Paulo Rogério Paulino, the police found more packages. The police seized the cargo and went to the suspect's residence on Rua Fábio Calzavarra, in Bairro Padre Aldo Bolini. On Paulo Rogério's ground, the police found several packages of cigarettes and lighters in plastic bags in addition to a large sum of money. The accused and the seized objects were sent to DIG, where Paulo Rogério was heard about the case. Soon, Paulo was fined in flagrante delicto for smuggling and the case was handed over to the Federal Court.

According to information from the Civil Police, 6.634 cigarette packs and R $ 14.218,58 in cash were seized.
