Visits to Brasilia

Professor André Franco Montoro Filho, executive president of the Brazilian Institute of Ethics in Competition - ETCO, met on August 21 and 22 with deputies José Pimentel and Armando Monteiro, senators Renato Casagrande, Jefferson Peres and Eliseu Resende and with Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Nelson Machado. Continuing these visits, Prof. André Montoro will meet next Tuesday (18th) with deputies Albano Franco, Rita Camata and Carlos Zarattini, senators Álvaro Dias, Marisa Serrano and Edison Lobão and with the Federal Revenue Secretary, Jorge Rachid. On Wednesday (19), the meeting with deputies Paulo Renato Souza and Gustavo Fruet takes place. On the agenda, subjects such as tax evasion, specific taxation and legal security.

To present projects and activities of the Brazilian Institute of Competition Ethics - ETCO, Professor André Franco Montoro, Executive President of the Institute, met on August 07 and 08 with Deputies Walter Ioshi, Fernando Chucre, Luiz Paulo Velloso, Eduardo Sciarra and Luiz Carlos Hauly, the Economic Policy Secretary of the Ministry of Finance, Bernard Appy and Senator Delcídio Amaral.


 


Continuing the visits, Professor André Montoro returned to Brasilia on the 21st and 22nd of the same month and maintained contact with Senators Renato Casagrande, Marco Maciel, Tasso Jereissati, Eduardo Suplicy, Jefferson Peres, Eliseu Rezende, Aloísio Mercadante, Sérgio Guerra, Arthur Virgílio and Marconi Perillo and with Deputies José Pimentel, Arnaldo Madeira, Eduardo Gomes, Antônio Carlos Pannunzio, Eduardo Sciarra, Duarte Nogueira, Vanderlei Macris, Marcos Montes, Roberto Brant, Carlos Sampaio, Emanuel Fernandes, Jorginho Maluly, Arnaldo Jardim and José Hannibal. On the agenda, subjects such as tax evasion, legal security and the delivery of the book “Specific Taxation” organized by the Institute, which brought together eight opinions, from renowned experts, dealing with important aspects of ad rem taxation.
