Pernod Ricard Brasil has just become the first spirits company in the world to use the “green cap”, produced with resin from 100% renewable source. Result of the combination of innovation, technology and sustainability, the material is made from sugarcane ethanol, thereby helping to reduce the emission of gases that cause the greenhouse effect by capturing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere in the production process.

The project to replace the traditional plastic cover with the environmentally friendly one was carried out with Braskem, in partnership with local suppliers of Pernod Ricard Brasil (Guala and Plastamp) and aims to reinforce the company's commitment to the development of sustainable practices and protection of the environment. environment. At least 600 tons of CO2 will no longer be released into the atmosphere in the first year of implementation.
