On June 30th, ETCO participated in the XI Congress on Tax Law in Question, promoted by the Fundação Escola Superior de Direito Tributário, in Gramado (RS). The event took place between June 28 and July 1 and brought together more than 600 people during the three days.

ETCO was part of the panel on taxation, development and citizenship, and gave the lecture “Taxation: obstacle or instrument for development”. The executive president of the Institute shared the panel with Eurico Marcos Diniz de Santi, professor of law at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and Coordinator of the Center for Tax Studies at FGV (NEF / FGV); and with Edvaldo Pereira de Brito, PhD from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and vice mayor of Salvador.

"I was very impressed with the seriousness of the event and very happy to be able to discuss important issues related to the tax system with a highly qualified audience," commented Abdenur.

The lecture file is already available on the ETCO website and can be accessed at this link.
