The 62nd edition of the National Meeting of State Tax Administrators (Encat) already has a date and place to take place. It is Alagoas' turn to receive, once again, the discussion forum, between the 5th and 6th of October, at the Jatiúca hotel, in Maceió.

The event returns to the Treasury's schedule of activities after two years since it was last held here. Before receiving revenue secretaries from all over the country, the organization will hold a series of technical meetings on days 3 and 4.

“We decided to do another edition of Encat because it is important for the development of the State. Several auditors will be present to discuss the current moment of the national tax administration ”, explains the Secretary of State Revenue, Luiz Dias.

Within the schedule, Sefaz / AL will present four papers. The national leader of the Contágil project, Alexandra Vieira, will give a lecture on Accounting Tax Audit and the application of the Federal Revenue software; Professor Heitor Soares, from the Federal University of Alagoas (Ufal), will discuss the results of the partnership with the Finance in the Automatic Analysis of Electronic Documents for Calculating Taxes and Detecting Infractions; and the founder of the Economiza Alagoas platform, Eduardo Barbosa, will present the success of the price consultation platform that the entire state is using.

Also at the meeting, Secretary Luiz Dias will present a lecture alongside the coordinator of the group for Simplification of Tax Liabilities and Proposals for Alteration of CTN, Adonídio Vieira Junior (GO).

As part of the National Council for Farm Policy (Confaz), Encat takes place three times a year and focuses on modernizing the state administration. The forum takes care of subjects such as knowledge and electronic transport and documents such as the Electronic Consumer Bill (NFC-e).

The opening, which will be attended by the Secretary of State for Finance, George Santoro, will be made with a panel on Competition Ethics. The presence of the President of the ETCO Institute, Edson Vismona, the attorney general of the State of Alagoas, Alfredo Gaspar de Mendonça, are confirmed; and federal judge Bruno Cesar Lorencini. “The idea is that we have the views on ethics from the Judiciary, from the private sector and from the Public Ministry”, concludes Luiz Dias.
