Organized crimeIn a meeting at the Ministry of Justice, the day before yesterday, Edson Vismona, from the ETCO Institute - which combats commercial smuggling and piracy - left a package of 21 suggestions to face the drug and arms mafias and inspect the borders. Along with other entities, he debated, in a commission focused on the repression of cargo theft, initiatives that will help the government in setting up the National Security Plan.

With the experience of those who have been studying, for a long time, ways to fight smugglers of drinks, electronics and clothing, among others, Vismona warns: “The State has to prepare for this war. Understand the challenge, create a strategy and from there have effective plans ”.

What did he suggest? Things like integrated border intelligence centers, strategic road control points, mapping of illegal trade areas. "We have to disorganize organized crime in order to organize the state", warns the businessman.
