ETCO promotes Seminar on Taxation and Legal Security

Event, which will feature lectures by some of the most prominent tax lawyers in the country, takes place on June 25, in the capital of São Paulo

 

The Brazilian Institute of Competitive Ethics (ETCO) promotes, on June 25, at the Renaissance São Paulo Hotel, in São Paulo (SP), the seminar Taxation and Legal Security. The event will feature five cycles of lectures, which will be led by some of the most prominent experts in tax law in the country. The Brazilian Association of Financial Law (ABDF), the Association of Federal Judges of Brazil (AJUFE) and the Center for the Study of Law Firms (CESA) support the event. Registration is free and places are limited.

Humberto Ávila, Titular Professor of Tax Law at the University of São Paulo (USP) and UFRGS (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul); Heleno Taveira Torres, Full Professor of Financial Law at USP; Roberto Quiroga Mosquera, professor of Tax Law at USP and the Professional Master's at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV); Hamilton Dias de Souza, master and specialist in Tax Law at USP; and, finally, Gustavo Brigagão, President of the Brazilian Association of Financial Law (ABDF) and Professor of Tax Law in FGV graduate courses; are the names confirmed at the event. Everardo Maciel, consultant, president of the ETCO Advisory Council and former secretary of the Federal Revenue, will be responsible for coordinating the debates.

We have to move forward to overcome old practices that hinder Brazil's undeniable economic potential, ”says Edson Vismona, President of ETCO.
